Miss Anna's Swim School has a long history of
providing quality swimming lessons in Nashville. Since
its acquisition by Elizabeth Slattery in 2004, the
school has flourished, moving from its original location
on White Bridge Road to Franklin in 2010, and finally
settling at Boost FitClub in 2015. Throughout these
transitions, the school has remained committed to
offering personalized lesson plans that cater to the
unique needs of each child, teaching thousands in the
process.
Elizabeth, a University of Kentucky graduate, has
made a significant impact in Nashville's community.
Alongside her husband Steve, she has dedicated her
time to various volunteer roles in non-profits, schools,
and church organizations. Her passion for community
service and education is evident in the nurturing
environment she has cultivated at Miss Anna's Swim
School.
Elizabeth and her husband Steve of Miss Anna’s Swim School are two of the kindest and extremely
knowledgeable swim instructors on the planet! They truly love what they do, working with local families
here in Nashville, and it’s highly evident throughout their work. I very quickly learned why Elizabeth with
Miss Anna’s Swim School is considered one of, if not the best, swim instructors and swim schools in
Nashville. Elizabeth and Steve helped our family with a major hurdle. They will always be angels in our
eyes for taking our son, who at the time was highly fearful of water, and by the few short weeks end,
having to be coaxed out of the pool. I only wish we had found them sooner!! - Annie
Thank you again for you and your staff’s excellent instruction. Our son had a
great time, and it was a wonderful parent experience as well. We are looking
forward to enrolling both of our boys next summer. - Alex

We have been bringing our children to Ms. Elizabeth for swim lessons for years. Ms. Elizabeth is a
fantastic teacher. She reinforces water safety, discipline and respect, while instilling confidence and
having fun. We cannot recommend her highly enough! Her teaching methods are sound and have
yielded excellent results with all of our children, including one with special needs. Although we did not
know Ms. Elizabeth before swim lessons, she has become a friend of the family and we look forwad to
coming back to her for hers to come. - Kim
Thank you and your team for getting my kids ready for summer swimming! She spent all summer out
of her puddle jumper and even passed the swim test allowing her to jump off the diving board in the
deep end. Our son had a wonderful first year of summer swim team and even won an award “Most
Oustanding Swimmer” in the 6 and under division. - Rebecca
